Skateboard lessons at the Greenwich Get Together festival

Skate school on the mini ramp at the Greenwich Get Together festival

We were invited along to the Greenwich Get Together festival by the Royal Borough of Greenwich on the 30th June to run skateboarding lessons on a mini ramp provided by kingramps.co.uk.

We were running lessons for festival goers in the Royal Arsenal site of the festival, just down by the river Thames. After padding up, we started by teaching participants to ride along on a skateboard, and turn. Once they were comfortable with the basics we took them to the mini ramp and moved on to how to pump (generate speed), and a few brave souls even had a go at dropping in.

We also ran some open sessions, letting those who brought their own boards along to have a go. We had a few locals along later and we put on a bit of a show.

If you want to find out more about what we can do at your event in London please drop us an email or you can book group or private skateboarding lessons with us.
