There’s something a bit off (in a good way) happening at Copelands this Easter.
“The Bunny Never Sleeps.” That’s the theme. Slightly ominous.
It’s going down Thursday 2nd April, 6-9pm. £6 to get in. Nothing too formal, just a solid evening at the park.
There’ll be a half pipe jam running, so expect a mix of people jumping in, hyping each other up, and generally keeping things loose. Not really a contest, more just a reason to skate together.
We’ve also got an Easter egg hunt, but it’s not as wholesome as it sounds. There’s a Heroin Skateboards “Egg” deck up for grabs, so it’ll probably turn into a bit of a scramble.
And we’re screening Donnie Darko which makes the whole bunny thing feel slightly more intentional.
It’s not trying to be a big polished event. Just skating, a film, a bit of chaos, and whoever turns up.
If you’re around, come by.
