Clown Skateboards Launch Event at School of Skate HQ

We hosted Clown Skateboards inaugural Thank You Very Much event at our new HQ in Copeland Park, Peckham last Thursday. We were rather happy how it turned out after spending some manic days getting the place fitted out. (I think we managed it in about 8 days).

Board launch & private viewing

Clown was showing off Tygar’s collection of board graphics. There was also a private viewing of some of Tygar’s other work from 7 – 9pm. The Art is titled Hello Ladybird, and is a re-working of the Ladybird series of books that you may remember from the 80’s.

A visit from the Clown Team

The Clown Team joined and skated the slappy curb, and there was a session on the mini-ramp from 9pm. We’re working on a video edit which we’ll share shortly, but in the meantime please have a look at some photos of what went down.

Ongoing Clown Skateboards events

Tygar’s work is hung in the upstairs space so come down and take a look.

We’re chuffed to announce that Clown will be coming down every month with some art, music, or spoken word, and they will be leaving the art up for you to peruse.
